- figure out what ac your car uses (mine was r134a)
- get the kit that matches the chemical on your car’s label
- turn your car on, blast AC and open your doors and windows
- connect refrigerant kit to low end
- if pressure gauge is in the red STOP
- if it isn’t in the red, incrementally add gas till you reach a safe green zone (per kit’s instructions)
if at any point you feel unsafe stop and go get it done properly by a professional.
