Woo! After years and years of ruminating, brewing and contemplating about starting a youtube channel, I’ve finally done it! I know it’s awks, poorly colour corrected, and a million other things I can point wrong about it. However, it’s done and oddly it’s something that I am proud to say that I have accomplished. I’ve attempted to refilm this particular video multiple times but after editing the same video with different clips i decided to go with one of the originals because it just goes to show how much of a noob that i am. And I suppose this is my slow progress towards “The Art of Not Giving a F*ck”.

What’s in My Work Bag

Nonetheless, we’ll get right into it! This is what’s in my work bag!

About Me

So, first things first, I suppose I need to give you a bit of a backdrop about me (To understand why I carry what I carry). I’ve recently graduated from university and started to work full-time downtown. I have about an hour long city transit commute to and from work (which includes walking outdoors). After work I usually hit up a coffee shop to take some online courses or attempt to freelance graphic design. And that’s pretty much all that goes into a work day for me. So I suppose now it’s on to the bag!

The Bag

So before I used to carry around a custy old Jansport (Don’t get me wrong I love that bag). But my wonderful girlfriend thought that since I’ve started working I should get something a little more professional, while still suiting my personality. Hence this beautiful Christmas present.

Lululemon Para Backpack

This bag is incredible! It has a ton of compartments (shoe/stinky clothes zipper, 2 side bottle sleeves with zippers, vertical front zipper, padded laptop sleeve, quick access pouch in the main compartment), weather resistant, looks good and is super comfy! It’s like the James Bond of backpacks, an inspector gadget of bags or the bugatti of fabric. It’s a super sleek bag that has a ton of space and I would highly, highly recommend it to anyone!

Prep for Everything

So the winter and spring weather in Toronto is extremely odd, so on the sides is how I prep for whatever emergency that can happen. Be it the elements, bumps and bruises, a little sickness or whatever that may happen during the day I got it covered. So on both the side I manage to fit in:

• A water bottle
• An umbrella
• Sunglasses
• Extra Bus Tokens
• Bandaids
• Tylenol
• Advil
• DayQuil
• Lip Balm
• Antacids
• Camera
• Camera Case
• SD Cards
  

Quick Access

So there’s actually a ton of space in this front compartment but because I’m commuting and I work at coffee shops, I try to be mindful of the space that I take up so I try to make everything pretty easily accessible. To do so I keep everything inside my cable organizer. I just grabbed this one off of Amazon and it’s been holding up pretty well! Inside of this contains:

• Laptop Charger
• Phone Charger
• Camera Charger
• Mouse
• External Hard-drive
• E-Reader
• Headphones
  

Main Compartment

This bring us to the main event! Just the basic regular stuff but I use them everyday!

• Clipboard
• Staedtler Mobile Office

• Glass Tupperware and Metal Utensils
• MacBook Pro 13” inch
• Secret Project
